Mt. Swansea Parking Lot – Upper

The upper parking lot of Mount Swansea put users only a short 15-minute walk from the summit. From here, one can see much of the Columbia Valley including Invermere. This site is also one of the local paragliding jump spots. Mountain bikers can park one vehicle at the top to quickly access trails. Note: This is a steep, uneven, single lane dirt road. Only AWD, high clearance vehicles are permitted past the lower parking lot. The road to the upper lot is only open during the summer.
