Residents light up the town with a friendly community competition of festive yard displays and bright lights.

Park by Frank’s Rink, take a walking tour of the town, then lace up your skates. The rink is beautiful at night.

No matter which direction you enter Radium from, you’ll be awed by the illumination—the roundabout art, Bighorns, looks spectacular in the dark and Christmas lights wind around the Main Street lampposts giving off extra radiance. Many local businesses, hotels and motels in particular, are aglow with seasonal lights and décor.

A focal point of village activities, the rink in Legend’s Field has floodlights after dark. Three new fire pits around the field offer a place to warm up.

If you are looking for a unique tradition, experience the magic of a sleigh ride around the village, available from Dec. 26-28 or visit the Winter Wonderland Market located at the Community Centre and Public Library. Visit the events page for a list of winter activities around Radium Hot Springs https://www.radiumhotsprings.com/events/ .

Radium Hot Spring’s annual birthday party and New Year’s Eve celebration is back! Enjoy food and fun at Brent’s Shack (beside the community centre) from 4-5:30pm followed by an impressive fireworks show on the Springs Driving Range at 6pm.
