Panorama Mountain Resort

Columbia Valley, British Columbia

High in the Columbia Valley’s Purcell Mountains, Panorama Mountain Resort is one of Canada’s most popular ski and golf resorts. Among its many accolades, at the World Snow Awards it was named the North American Resort of the Year in 2016. Rightly earned, a visit to Panorama is the perfect way for you and your family to fight City Stress Condition at any time of the year.

In 2022, 200 of the world’s best junior ski athletes will journey into the heart of the Purcell mountains to Panorama: a place where athletic excellence, the best of the human spirit and Pure Canada connect.

Panorama’s proud to have hosted high caliber races for over 40 years. And the legacy continues: this is the first time the FIS Alpine Junior World Championships will be held in Western Canada.

FIS Alpine Junior World Championships 2022

Right in the heart of BC’s famous Powder Highway, winter at Panorama Mountain Resort offers downhillers lots of snow, hours and hours of sunshine. Shhhhh away your troubles on one of North America’s longest vertical descents, with 4000 skiable acres of fantastically varied terrain. At the base is our ski-in/ski-out family-focused alpine village, complete with a variety of hotel rooms, shops, and restaurants. The renowned Panorama Snow School caters to all ages and abilities, with either group or private ski or snowboard lessons. Meanwhile, off the groomed slopes, Panorama’s winter months boast nordic skiing, show-shoeing, heli-skiing, skating, and snowmobiling.

Meanwhile, the village gondola is open year-round and the Panorama Springs giant outdoor hot pools are open year-round for overnight guests.

Summertime and the living is really easy at Panorama. Surrounded by some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery anywhere, the world-famous Greywolf Golf Course at Panorama Mountain Village draws golfers from every corner of the globe. It’s the perfect place to drive away that pent up stress. And, if you truly love a good challenge, you’ll want to challenge yourself to Hole 6—the famous Cliffhanger! Relax and wash away stress and the heat in our pools, on the water slides, or in the shallow-entry cool pool. There are always lots of outdoor activities for the whole family to share— with a variety of day camps, movie nights, rock climbing, mini-golf, and tennis. And that’s not all! There’s also alpine hiking, biking or ATV-ing in the mountains or white-water rafting on the beautiful blue-green waters of Toby Creek. Of course, not all our summer activities are ideal for the whole family, so before you enjoy the adult activities at Panorama, you can sign up the junior family members for one of the many PanoKids activity programs – Wee Wascals, Kids Club, specialty clubs including our sports camp, and downhill mountain biking camp.
