If you’re travelling through the Columbia Valley or here on essential travel, please follow the advice of health professionals and adhere to social distancing
In light of recent directives from the federal and provincial governments, and to help support efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, many Columbia Valley businesses and activities have altered or suspended operations. Numerous events and programs have also been affected. We are doing our best to keep you informed of the status of local businesses however, the situation continues to evolve quickly. Please see below our compiled list of businesses in the Valley and some helpful tips on how to stay safe when travel is safe again.
GUIDELINES FOR ENTERING LOCAL BUSINESSES
1. Practice 2 metres physical distancing
2. Restrict your group to households/families in limited numbers
3. Practice diligent hand-washing hygiene
4. Don’t touch merchandise unless you plan to purchase
5. Practice respiratory etiquette (cough into your sleeve)
6. Avoid touching your face
7. Do not enter a business or shared space if you are sick or symptomatic
8. Follow posted instructions on entering local businesses
RESTAURANTS & DINING OPTIONS
Many of the restaurants, cafes and pubs are not able to offer in-facility options, however take-out and delivery are options are available.
