With the app, you can choose your own adventure and check out the itineraries that feature an array of sightseeing, activities, pubs, restaurants, cafes, trails, local businesses, points of interest, and more. Simply explore the Columbia Valley and complete the designated stops within the itineraries to collect your rewards.

Located in the hub of the Columbia Valley, Invermere is a great basecamp for year-round adventure. Discover unforgettable experiences in Invermere, from discovering the Columbia Wetlands, soaring above the mountains, capturing meaningful memories, creating a piece of art, tasting farm fresh food, or exploring the alpine — adventure awaits.
How it works
To begin your journey with Explore Columbia Valley, create an account to earn points that can be redeemed for rewards at various locations throughout the Columbia Valley. The Explore button takes you to the map of the Columbia Valley, which displays the location of places of interest where you can collect points, and clicking on each pin on the map provides you with more information about that particular location. Several locations are assigned a specific point value, which can be collected when you are within GPS range of the location and have an internet connection. When you physically visit a location, you can add the location’s points to your point total by clicking on the “Collect Points” button. To keep earning points, explore more locations. You can track your point total on your account page.
Rewards
Earn and redeem rewards with Explore Columbia Valley! As you collect points, you’ll have the opportunity to redeem them for amazing prizes at our Rewards locations. Using our app, you can easily find the location nearest to you. When you’re ready to redeem your points, simply select the location and press the “Redeem Rewards” button. The owner will then enter a code into a keypad to deduct the required points from your account and provide you with your chosen reward. Don’t forget, you’ll need an internet connection to redeem your points. Start earning today and treat yourself to something special!
