With maintained classic and skate ski tracks alongside the World's Longest Ice Skating Trail, the Lake Windermere Whiteway Nordic ski trails are a fantastic outing for skiiers of all abilities. Maintained by the Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club, enjoy the sprawling 30km trail network weaving along Lake Windermere.
The Lake Windermere Whiteway is accessed from the town of Invermere at Kinsmen Beach. Remember to purchase your day or annual pass to enjoy the trails.
Ski the multi-sport Lake Lillian Whiteway and enjoy beautiful views of the small mountain lake and Purcell Mountains.
The lovely Lake Lillian is tucked away just beyond the town of Invermere, on the way to Panorama Mountain Resort. The Lake Lillian Whiteway is a 3km trail maintained by the Toby Creek Nordic. When conditions allow, winter outdoor adventurers can enjoy a groomed Nordic ski track and skate ski path alongside the cleared skating path. Cross the road and ski through the treed trails of the Junior Johnson.
