Bring a little East Coast warmth to the holiday season with The Barra MacNeils, one of Cape Breton’s best-known musical families. Their An East Coast Christmas performance blends traditional Christmas favourites, Celtic melodies, rich harmonies, and lively instrumentals with the storytelling and festive spirit of a Cape Breton kitchen party.

Celebrating 40 years together in 2026, the group combines extraordinary musicianship with instruments including fiddle, Celtic harp, accordion, piano, guitar, and bodhrán. Expect a seasonal concert that moves from beautiful carols and Gaelic ballads to foot-stomping tunes and step dancing.
