DAY ONE
City streets to mountain peaks.
If you’re visiting in March or April the trails at Nipika Mountain Resort will quench your thirst for winter adventure and make the perfect stop between Banff, AB and Radium Hot Springs. The evening.

Know before you go: There is no cell reception near Nipika – download a map or follow resort signage, roads may be snowy; 4WD or AWD is recommended. Pack everything you need for the day including lunch, extra snacks, water, layers, and a headlamp. Always tell someone where you are going when you plan on being home.
DAY TWOÂ
From powder to pars.
The golf courses of the Columbia Valley begin to open throughout April making it the perfect time to hit the slopes and the links in one day. Reach new hieghts at Panorama Mountain Resort, known for its long descents and jaw-dropping views of the Purcell Mountain Range.
When you’re done carving the slopes visit one of the local golf courses known for having an early start for the season: Golf Copper Point, and Windermere Golf Course. Find them all on the Columbia Valley Golf Trail website.
The evening
Finish the day off with a meal from the golf course club house. Check with the course to see if they have a 9 and dine special before booking.

DAY THREE
Beach to streets.
Your time in the Columbia Valley is coming to a close but don’t be sad – there are still more things to check off your multi-sport weekend bucket-list. It’s time to explore the Columbia River Wetlands before hitting the road.
The Columbia River Wetlands are one of the largest intact wetlands in the world. Bring your binoculars to discover different birds, rodents, insects, fish, and mammals.
The waterway can be explored by hiking or biking along the Old Coach Trail in Invermere, or by launching canoe, kayak, or paddle board at the Petes Marina boat launch in Athalmer.
