Hot Springs Pools

The Radium Visitor Centre (7556 Main Street East, Radium Hot Springs) has fantastic wildlife, geographical exhibits, and interpretive displays for Indigenous and cultural history. Best of all, the visitor centre counsellors can direct you to your next rainy day activity. The Visitor Centre is open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Did you pack your bowling shoes? Get your game on at the Valley Alley Bowling in Windermere with friends and family. Are you more competitive, or do you play for “fun”? Everyone will have a blast no matter who wins (or loses)!
Everyone can make art (yes, even you), and Black Star Art Studios offer art classes daily. The best part is that you do not have to be good at art to create beauty. From kids to adults workshops, this place is perfect for exploring your creative side.
Get muddy with Pottery Playground. They have a variety of classes throughout the summer everyone can find a class that they like. From making planters to oven dishes there is something for everyone.
Visit the Windermere Valley Museum in Invermere to learn more about the history of the Columbia Valley. The museum features interpretive displays and historic buildings.
Be moved by the art within the Columbia Valley. With seven galleries in Invermere, it is the perfect place to explore art. Take a walk around town to explore the galleries. Visit the downtown areas of Invermere, Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont Hot Springs to check out shops, from a bookstore, organic skincare, thrift shops, clothing stores, boutiques, art galleries and so much more. Finish the retail therapy with a nice hot beverage from one of the many coffee shops in the area.
Visit a Distillery or Brewery
Have you tried Arrowhead Brewing Company, Radium Brewing or Taynton Bay? Stay dry during the rain while you try your next favourite drink, and, maybe, bring a bottle back with you. Check out local breweries & distilleries.
How does food grow? Get the farm-to-table experience by going behind the scenes at Edible Acres Farm and Cafe. Learn by doing on a tour of the farm and after enjoy a delicious meal with food from the farm.
